[해외소식] 사파이어사는 Radeon HD 4850 X2가 지금보다 빠르고, 조용하고 더 싸질 것이라고 말합니다.

 
우리는 사파이어사 고유의 Radeon HD 4850 X2를 매우 마음에 들어합니다. 2개의 GPU 방법은 2008년 11월 발표되었지만 최근 50유로 이상의 지포스 가격하락에 따라 센스(?)를 갖게 되었습니다.

아직 확신하고 있지 않지만, 사파이어사는 한 카드가 이전 어느때보다도 지금이 급에 맞게 높은 기념품으로 보낼 시간이라고 말합니다. (영.. 아리까리 하지만.. 이전의 HD 4850X2와는 다르게, 최고급의 그래픽카드로 출시한다는 말인듯 해요..) 제조사에 따르면, 지금 대량 생산 및 1GB 와 2GB 모델 모두 높은 가격 하락을 볼 수 있을 것 입니다. 추가적으로, 팬-속도 설정 업데이트는 2D 모드일때 카드를 더 조용하게 할 것이고, WHQL-인증 드라이버가 AMD로부터 직접 다운로드 하여 지금 이용할 수 있습니다.

기본적으로 소프트웨어적-트윅 버전의 "빠르고, 조용하고 싼" 같은 카드를 멀리서 찾을 필요가 없습니다.(?), 사실, 현재 약 265유로 근처의 가격이 형성되어 있습니다. - 2주전의 15유로 근처보다 더 많습니다.

이 시나리오라면 이 265유로의 카드는 300유로 와 더 비싼 카드들을 모두 밀어낼 것입니다. 사파이어사는 단지 우리가 확신을 갖기를 바라는 것 같습니다.(?)

PS. 골머리 싸고 있다가 포기한 문장도.. ㄷㄷ; 국내에서는 환율때문에 그림의 떡이긴 하겠지만..
보이긴 멋져 보이는군요..^^;

Sapphire says: Radeon HD 4850 X2 is now faster, quieter and cheaper, too

We're admittedly fond of Sapphire's exclusive Radeon HD 4850 X2. The dual-GPU solution launched back in November 2008 but only recently began to make sense following GeForce-countering price cuts of over ￡50.

If you're still not sure, Sapphire is taking the time to send out a gentle reminder by stating that it's one-of-a-kind card is now better than ever. According to the manufacturer, the card is now in volume production and both 1GB and 2GB models could see prices fall further. In addition, an updated fan-speed profile should keep the card quiet when in 2D mode, and a WHQL-certified driver is now available to download direct from AMD.

We wouldn't go as far as to call what is essentially a software-tweaked version of the same card "faster, quieter and cheaper", in fact, it's currently priced at around ￡265 - that's around ￡15 more than a fortnight ago.

Nonetheless, the card's already at a tempting high-end price point and the minor software tweaks just add a little icing to an already tasty prospect. In the right scenario, this is a ￡265 card that'll out perform others priced at ￡300 and over. Sapphire, it seems, just wants to be sure we're all aware.
