[해외소식] Nvidia의 2/4분기 및 3/4분기 GPU 라인업

 

하이엔드 매니아 부분에서는, Nvidia는 7월에 9800 GX2와 GTX를 대체하는 GeForce 9900 GTX 와 9900 GTS를 발매할 예정이다. Geforce 9800GT 카드를 위해 G92 다이를 줄일 것이다.(사실 해석이 잘 안되는데.. 라인업에 Geforce 9800GT는 G92b 라고 해놓은걸 보아.. 예측입니다.. -0-/) 그리고 Nvidia는 단지 하이엔드 그래픽카드가 많다는 이유로, GeForce 9800 GTS 발매를 취소할 예정이다. 우리가 이전에 전했듯이, 단지 8800 GS의 이름바꾸기인(reband) GeForce 9600 GSO가 5월 13일 발매될 예정이다. 그 의외의(메인스트림급의 나머지) GPU들(9500GT, 9500GS, 9300 GE 및 9300 GS)은 6-7월 사이에 발표될 것이다.

PS. launch를 발매로 해석하는게 맞을지 모르겠네요. 제품 출시..라고 해야 하나.. 후음..

For the high-end enthusiasts segment., Nvidia will launch GeForce 9900 GTX and 9900 GTS in July to replace the 9800 GX2 and GTX. There is a die shrink on G92 for GeForce 9800 GT cards. Nvidia has also cancelled plans to launch GeForce 9800 GTS because there are simply too many high end GPUs. We told you earlier, GeForce 9600 GSO will launch on May 13th which is just a rebrand of the 8800 GS. The rest of the mainstream and value GPUs like 9500 GT, 9500 GS, 9300 GE and 9300 GS will come in June-July timeframe.
